I had a genius idea. This post will be a comment post. I will need everyone's help here, so spread the word. I would like for people to comment with any questions they have about my class. This post will be the backbone of my proposal. Think of you guys as Mozilla, and my proposal will be Firefox. I will not reply to your comments, but I will post my proposal when it is ready. You can see your influences then.
Hey how's it going? Haha I would really like to know how you think the enrollment of such a class would work out. Are you going to make it an elective? I think that would be the best option.
ReplyDeleteHow can it become a credit?
Have you looked at public schools who do this?
How many hours are required for a permit?
ReplyDeleteWhat does someone have to do to be a certified instructor?
What would the insurance cost be?
Would students be charged extra for the class? if so, how much, a percentage? whole cost?
Would this include motorbikes?
Where would the students practice? ( turns and stuff before driving on the road)
What vehicle would you use?...the vans are useful to the school...I don't think they will be available.
Will parents have to sign a waiver of some sort?
If so, will you write it?
Do you know how to drive?
Where is the funding going to come from?
How much money is needed?
What period would this be held in?
Did Brian ever help you write a grant?
If so, can we see it?
DO you REALLY want our students driving?...think about it.
Will this service be covered in the part of tuition that the students don't pay?
ReplyDeleteWhen during the day will it take place?
Is wallisville the safest road for learners?
Will this be like the full course that includes a written test?
I think it should be open to the Highlands/Baytown area because that will bring in more money.
Would having this course mean hiring someone full time?
Who will teach it?
ReplyDeleteDon't you need some kind of permission from the state to do something like this at a school who never had this option?
Will you be there to see how it goes in say, 2 or 5 years?
How will it work out in the school schedule?
If this were to pass, how many spots are available for students to be able to learn?
What are the costs?
This was a good idea but could you tell us how your project is coming along. Perhaps you could post some of the actual writing for your project here?
ReplyDeleteLast time you also said that you were looking for someone to sponsor this program here at school. Have you found any one in particular or is that still a work in progress?
